The Saratoga Film Forum is a not-for-profit organization that brings a wide variety of quality films to downtown Saratoga Springs.
History of Saratoga Film Forum
In 1993, a group of Saratogians recognized a need within the community for an in-town movie theater that would screen quality, hard-to-find films and promote the art of cinema in Saratoga Springs.
The Saratoga Film Forum typically offers alternative movies, including independent films, classic American cinema, foreign films, independent films, documentaries, shorts, and video productions by local and nationally known filmmakers. They also host regular panels, forums, and workshops with producers, directors, writers, and other members of the filmmaking community - this promotes access for other local groups to the medium of film as a way of educating, informing, and generating discussion about local and national issues of concern to our community.
