Morning: Choose Your Waterfront Adventure

Head out onto the water before the midday heat rolls in!

Fish Creek

The Kayak Shak on Fish Creek, connected to Saratoga Lake, is the ultimate morning launching pad. Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and glide through the water at your own pace.

Moreau Lake State Park

Kayak rentals are also available at Moreau Lake State Park. Enjoy a non-motorized lake and quiet environment for on-the-water fun.

Prefer to relax a bit more while on the water? No need for oars or paddles when you go with a Tiki Tour excursion! This iconic, thatch-roofed floating tiki boat features an overhead canopy so you can stay out of the sun if you wish while enjoying the lake breeze and water views on Saratoga Lake.

Wheatfields Restaurant has a covered patio for shaded outdoor dining, or you can stay cool in their air-conditioned dining area. Sip on a cocktail while people watching in comfort. Try their Caprese Salad to start - excellent for summer!

Take a dip in the Victoria Pool - there's no better way to beat the heat than getting underwater! And guess what? The Victoria Pool is currently not heated, so it seamlessly fits into our coolcation itinerary.

If you'd like to stay dry and cool, take a hike on the Geyser Loop Trail, also located within Saratoga Spa State Park. This easy, scenic trail runs alongside a rushing creek and weaves through a dense, shaded forest canopy. You'll see the famous Island Spouter along the way.

Dinner: Elegant Vibes & Summer Views at The Heritage 

Heritage at Saratoga National (formerly Prime), offers one of the best patio dining spots in Saratoga, overlooking the rolling greens of the 18th hole. And, their patio is covered!

Evening: A Scenic, Sunset Drive for a Sweet Treat

Roll the windows down for the drive to King Brothers Dairy in Schuylerville! They're open until 9pm daily and boast some of the best ice cream in the area with over 80 rotating flavors. Guests love the bacon ice cream and the pistachio! It's the best end to an incredibly cool day in Saratoga.
