Approximately 20 full- and part-time employees staff the shop.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to unveil our newest location in Albany,\u201d the company said.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cStuyvesant Plaza is a one-of-a-kind location and we can\u2019t wait to welcome Plaza shoppers and tenants for a meal or a hot cup of coffee. We look forward to continuing to grow our business there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUncommon Grounds is a Capital Region favorite, and we\u2019re happy to welcome them to Stuyvesant Plaza,\u201d said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\"><b><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>Uncommon Grounds\u2019 current Albany location in University Plaza is staying open. The coffee shop has two other locations in Saratoga Springs and Clifton Park.<\/p>\n<p>Uncommon Grounds first opened in 1992 in downtown Saratoga Springs, with the mission to procure high quality coffee beans from reliable sources committed to ethical and sustainable practices. In 1996, the caf\u00e9 began serving fresh New York City-inspired bagels and cream cheese prepared from scratch daily. The brand freshly roasts all of its coffee in-house.<\/p>\n<p>Uncommon Grounds joins the numerous restaurants and eateries at Stuyvesant Plaza, including Bellini\u2019s Counter, Bountiful Bread, Peaches Caf\u00e9 and others.
