Saratoga Hospital has named Daniel Madden<\/b> director of environmental services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The hospital also promoted Sarah Bunzey<\/b> of Hadley to director of women\u2019s health services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He brings extensive experience managing healthcare environmental services operations, most recently as director of environmental services at Ellis Medicine in Schenectady.<\/p>\n Previously, Madden served as a regional director of operations and regional manager for Crothall Healthcare, which provides environmental and other core support services to hospitals and healthcare systems. In those roles, he oversaw environmental services for 21 upstate New York healthcare institutions.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Madden has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Guilford College in North Carolina and an Associate of Applied Science in public health technology\/environmental science from Hudson Valley Community College. He lives in Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n Bunzey has worked at the hospital since 2004, most recently as a clinical coordinator in women\u2019s health services.<\/p>\n She began her Saratoga Hospital career as a hospice nurse on a medical\/surgical floor. Two years later, Bunzey joined women\u2019s health services as a labor and delivery nurse. She has worked in perinatal nursing ever since.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Bunzey has an associate degree from SUNY Adirondack and a bachelor\u2019s degree in nursing from Western Governor\u2019s University in Salt Lake City. She is certified in inpatient obstetric nursing, electronic fetal monitoring and as a lactation counselor.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n <\/span><\/span>Kristopher Kopyc<\/b> is a new team member with the Retirement Planning Group. He is working full time as a financial analyst for our firm and doing an exceptional job.<\/p>\n Kopyc started working over the summer on a part-time basis as he finished up his college career. He is a Siena College graduate with a degree in business administration with concentrations in financial planning and sports marketing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He is\u00a0 <\/span>taking the courses and exams necessary to become a fully licensed financial planner with the firm.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n Upstate Agency LLC in South Glens Falls, part of the Arrow Family of Companies, recently appointed Christopher Spofford<\/b> as senior risk advisor.<\/p>\n The Albany-based Spofford has more than 25 years of insurance and risk experience in property and casualty, employee benefits and strategic planning. He provides customized solutions that address his clients\u2019 unique needs and safeguard their long-term profitability.<\/p>\n Prior to joining the Upstate Agency, Spofford was vice president with a privately-held, national broker. He achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and the Certified School of Risk Management (CSRM) designations from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He also attained his Associate In Claims (AIC) designation from The Institutes \u2013 Risk & Insurance Knowledge Group.<\/p>\n Spofford earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in political science from SUNY Plattsburgh and currently lives in Guilderland.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. announced the appointment of Kasey Norton<\/b>, assistant vice president and branch manager, to the South Glens Falls Office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She was previously branch manager of both the Aviation Road and Exit 18 offices.<\/p>\n In her expanded role, she will oversee operations, supervise staff and develop business and personal banking relationships for the South Glens Falls Office.
