In addition to viewing sporting events, guests will be able to wager on horse racing from tracks around the country.<br \/>\nThe bar will be open daily 9 a.m. to 4 a.m.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re excited for our guests to see what\u2019s been going on behind the walls,\u201d said Alex Tucker, general manager of Saratoga Casino Hotel. \u201cWith the opening of the bar and the high limit area our guests are now able to get a sense of what to expect the entire property to look like once the project is complete.\u201d<br \/>\nThe opening of the bar marks the completion of the first phase of an $8 million renovation project the casino started earlier this year. A new VIP lounge and high-limit area, also completed as part of phase one, opened on Oct. 24. The VIP lounge allows select players access to a private room with plush seating and complimentary food and drinks.<br \/>\nAdditional phases of the project will be completed over the next several months, with the full renovation expected to be done by the second quarter of 2020.<br \/>\nThe remaining renovation work includes new carpeting, lighting and finishes throughout the casino floor as well as upgrading the casino bathrooms and adding self-service beverage centers. Once complete, the look of the casino floor will match the new look of the bar and high limit slot area and more closely align with the modern architecture and design featured in the casino\u2019s hotel, officials said.<br \/>\nThe casino revitalization project is overseen by lead architectural firm AJA of Glens Falls and construction work is being done by Consigli Construction of Albany.<br \/>\nSaratoga Casino Hotel, on Crescent Avenue in Saratoga Springs, features over 1,700 slots, a 117-room luxury hotel, electronic table games, Vapor, Morton\u2019s The Steakhouse, two full-service restaurants with buffets, a casual dining restaurant, three full-service bars, deli and a variety of guest services including valet parking and coat check.<br \/>\nOperating hours for the gaming facility are 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. every day.
