The Galway Public Library will be offering a free Social Security information program at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13. The program is designed to help pre-retirees learn how to maximize their Social Security income benefits.
\nAnswers to commonly asked questions will be addressed, including: Will Social Security be there for me? How much can I expect to receive? When should I apply for Social Security? How can I maximize my benefits? Will Social Security be enough to live on in retirement?
\nSince 2014, the one-hour program entitled, \u201cSocial Security Made Easy,\u201d has gained wide spread attention across the upstate New York region for helping attendees make more informed decisions in order to better prepare for their retirement transition.
\nThe program is being presented as a community service by Retirement Solutions LLC. Seating is limited and advance registration is required. To RSVP, call (518) 882-6385.<\/p>\n

The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Nonprofit Table Top Information Fair on Monday, Nov.
\n18, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park.
\nOpen to the community and free to attend, the event will feature over 25 Chamber member nonprofit organizations including CAPTAIN Community Human Services, Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Clifton Park Halfmoon Emergency Corps, Northeastern Association of the Blind, The Regional Food Bank, Angel Names Association and Saratoga Bridges, who want to connect with community members, showcase the valuable services they provide and also emphasize the many rewarding volunteer opportunities available.
\nPre-registration for the event is requested at www.saratoga.org though drop-ins are welcome. Families are encouraged to attend. There will be snacks and door prize giveaways during the event.
