According to campground general manager Glen Slaymaker, approximately half of the sites are rented for the entire six-month season.<!--more--><br \/>\nThe remaining sites are rented by what Slaymaker referred to as the \u201cin and outs\u201d\u2014people who do not stay for an extended period of time. He said the campground\u2019s occupancy rate typically hovers around 80 percent.<br \/>\nColdbrook is accessible to RVs of all sizes and has pull-thru sites to accommodate large vehicles. It is an RV camp only, and there are no tenting sites within the park. Site rental fees include a basic cable television package, as well as water, sewer and electricity. Wi-Fi access can be purchased for an additional charge.<br \/>\nThe park is located on 140 acres. In addition to a swimming pool that will be heated for the first time this year, there are bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities, a pavilion, and three ponds for catch-and-release fishing.<br \/>\nThe campground also has a basketball court, horseshoe pits, a bocce ball court, a softball field, a volleyball court and a playground.<br \/>\nColdbrook also schedules outdoor movie showings, band performances, and special activities for children and families. The campground is also pet friendly and has its own dog park.<br \/>\nAccording to Slaymaker, a gate system was recently installed to provide added privacy and security.<br \/>\nSlaymaker\u2019s wife, Edie, is also employed by Coldbrook and handles much of the office work. They have worked for Coldbrook\u2019s new owners at other campgrounds.<br \/>\n\u201cThey are very good people to work for. They are very in tune to what needs to be done at the park. They are all about making improvements,\u201d said Slaymaker.<br \/>\nIn addition to the Slaymaker\u2019s, Coldbrook will employ two couples who will serve as facility managers.
