The two practice locations have not changed and the current staff will be retained.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Dr. James Kelley has joined Saratoga Hospital Medical Group Primary Care \u2013 Sports Medicine, a new practice that focuses on meeting the needs of active patients and recreational and high-level athletes.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Offices are located adjacent to Saratoga Regional YMCA, in the newest building at Saratoga Medical Park in Malta. Saratoga Hospital and the Y built the facility together and share space there.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201cWe are delighted to welcome our colleagues to the hospital\u2019s multi-specialty group,\u201d said Dr. David M. Mastrianni, senior vice president of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group. \u201cThis practice has been providing outstanding women\u2019s health services to the greater Saratoga community for more than 40 years. Now, as part of our multi-specialty group, we can provide a higher level of coordinated care for all of our patients, improved access to care, and realize an enhanced sharing of best practices, administrative resources, and operational efficiencies.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Saratoga Hospital anticipates adding providers to the practice, as well as establishing a greater degree of collaboration with the Saratoga Hospital Medical Group Midwifery and Women\u2019s Health Services practice located in Wilton.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Saratoga OB\/GYN at Myrtle Street is the latest addition to Saratoga Hospital\u2019s growing commitment to women\u2019s health across a broad range of programs and services in the greater Saratoga community. This commitment includes the medical group\u2019s midwifery practice and the women\u2019s primary care practice, the Saratoga Center for Breast Care and Women\u2019s Imaging services on the Wilton campus, as well as a wide range of community education programs and support groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an exciting new chapter in how we work together with Saratoga Hospital, creating new opportunities for our patients and practitioners,\u201d said Dr. Amy Knoeller. \u201cCombining our strengths creates a new depth of services and expertise to deliver better continuity of personalized, compassionate women\u2019s healthcare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Saratoga OB\/GYN at Myrtle Street remains at 59 Myrtle St. in Saratoga Springs, with an office also located at 2105 Ellsworth Boulevard in Malta. For more information, visit SaratogaOBGYN.org.<\/p>\n<p>As a primary care sports medicine physician, Kelley emphasizes the importance of exercise in promoting a healthy lifestyle. He has specialized training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, physical education and other areas to help patients stay healthy and fit and prevent injuries and illness.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThis new practice meets a growing need in our community and helps patients lay the foundation for long-term good health,\u201d said Dr. Richard Falivena, vice president and chief medical and physician integration officer at Saratoga Hospital. \u201cIt\u2019s exactly the type of service we envisioned when we partnered with the Y on this building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Kelley has strong ties to the hospital and the Saratoga region. Before pursuing a medical degree, he worked as a nursing assistant at the Orthopedic Center at Saratoga Hospital and as an assistant rowing coach at Skidmore College. He was also a volunteer for the Saratoga Mentoring Program.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>A graduate of Albany Medical College, Dr. Kelley completed a residency in family and community medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa\u2019, and a fellowship in sports medicine at WellSpan York Hospital in York, PA.
