She will also design and administer security programs at all bank offices.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Childs comes to BSNB with more than 25 years of experience in banking and management. She earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in business management and finance at The College of Saint Rose.<\/p>\n<p>She is a former board member for the Homeless &amp; Traveler\u2019s Aid Society. She serves on the PTA for Shenendehowa Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-32328\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2018\/06\/p-brief-freeman-tolbert-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2018\/06\/p-brief-freeman-tolbert-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2018\/06\/p-brief-freeman-tolbert-65x65.jpg 65w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>Whiteman Osterman &amp; Hanna LLP announced that associate attorney C<b>ianna Freeman-Tolbert<\/b> has been selected for the <i>Albany Business Review<\/i>\u2019s 40 Under Forty for 2018. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the paper recognizes 40 young professionals and leaders under the age of forty who exemplify leadership in their business accomplishments and community involvement.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Freeman-Tolbert was selected from over 400 nominations.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She joined Whiteman Osterman &amp; Hanna in November of 2017, and is a member of the firm\u2019s Immigration Practice Group. She focuses her practice on all aspects of immigration law, including family-based, employment based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing, and immigration litigation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She specializes in removal\/deportation defense and immigration litigation, and represents clients who have immigration enforcement-related issues, criminal issues, and previous immigration violations, before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and Board of Immigration Appeals.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Freeman-Tolbert also handles waivers of inadmissibility, family-based immigration petitions, and other individual cases, such as affirmative asylum, VAWA, and U-Visa applications.<\/p>\n<p>She volunteers with the Prisoners\u2019 Legal Services of New York representing incarcerated individuals in Immigration Court, and has also worked with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. volunteering for the National Pro Bono Project for unaccompanied immigrant children and the BIA Pro Bono Project. She is also active with the Capital Region Immigration Collaborative of The Legal Project, and the Bethlehem YMCA.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>The Saratoga Builders Association, Inc. recognized three members of its board of directors who have now served for 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>The honor went to <b>Sonny Bonacio<\/b>, president of Bonacio Construction; <b>Mark Johnson<\/b>, president of Degraff-Bloom Custom Builders; and <b>John Witt<\/b>, president of Witt Construction.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These award-winning builders were honored for their dedication and commitment to the organization at this year\u2019s spring membership mixer recently held at the Saratoga Golf &amp; Polo Club.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. John O\u2019Brien<\/b>, DDS, is the newest member of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group \u2013 Dentistry located at the Saratoga Community Health Center in Saratoga Springs.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Brien comes to Saratoga Hospital from Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin. Her practice will continue to focus on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and securities law.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Marinello received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her B.A., in English, with a Minor in Italian, magna cum laude from Wake Forest University.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) announced that Jaime Griffen, training Coordinator, has received the 2018 SUMMIT Employee of the Year award.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Griffen was recognized for her dedication to educating new employees on BSNB\u2019s customer service culture and working with current employees to help improve their customer service skills.<\/p>\n<p>Griffen joined BSNB in 2015 as a relationship manager for the Malta office. A short time later, she moved to the Latham office.
