The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association (BSBPA) and Saratoga Automobile Museum will present the 14th annual The Way We Were car show on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Front Street in Ballston Spa.<\/p>\n

The rain date will be Oct. 16.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to be sponsoring another year of The Way We Were car show in Ballston Spa,” said Donna Dardaris of the BSBPA, a member of the show’s leadership team.<\/p>\n

“We will once again be partnering with the Saratoga Automobile Museum to help make the show even greater,” she said. “We invite the public to come stroll our historic village, check out the hundreds of cars and trucks on display, and enjoy the music, vendors and downtown businesses. It’s a great day for the whole family.”<\/p>\n

Front Street will be blocked off from Milton Avenue, past the Old Iron Springs, to accommodate car exhibits and vendors. In addition to food and merchandise vendors, the show will again feature a Kids Zone, located by the Old Iron Springs, which will feature several free children’s activities.<\/p>\n

The car show is a judged show and several trophies will be awarded, including Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Stock, Oldest Vehicle plus the top three in each of 13 categories.<\/p>\n

Judging begins at 9 a.m. with trophies awarded at 3:30 p.m. The event is free to spectators.<\/p>\n

Exhibitors can pre-register by Sept. 30, for $10 per car or $15 on the day of show. All proceeds will benefit BSBPA community activities and the Saratoga Automobile Museum.<\/p>\n

Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 cars registered and the first 200 cars registered will receive car show souvenirs.<\/p>\n

Pre-registration can be completed online at www.saratogaautomuseum.org. A printable mail-in registration form is available on the website, www.ballston.org. For more information, contact the BSBPA at info@ballston.org or call 885-2772.<\/p>\n

The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association was founded in 1983.<\/p>\n
