Bond, Schoeneck & King announced that, for the third consecutive year, John M. Bagyi <\/b>is one of 200 lawyers recognized as the Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys (Up-and-Comers) in a survey published in the June 2016 edition of Human Resource Executive.<\/p>\n

Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP hired three new summer associates: Alexandra Dobles<\/b>, Gabriella Levine<\/b> and Tyler Clark Robbins<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Dobles graduated from Swinburne University of Technology with a B.S. degree in environmental sustainability in December 2013. She currently attends Pace University School of Law and is the productions editor for the Pace Environmental Law Review.<\/p>\n

Dobles previously interned for Judge Patty Shwartz in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.<\/p>\n

Levine graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.A. degree in political science from Union College in June 2014. She is currently attending Albany Law School and is the executive editor for State Constitutional Commentary of the Albany Law Review.<\/p>\n

Levine was a finalist in Albany Law School’s Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition and received awards for Best Oral Advocate and Best Brief. Her previous experience includes working as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mae A. D’Agostino.<\/p>\n

Robbins graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a B.A. in International relations and political science in May 2010. He is currently attending Albany Law School and the University at Albany and will receive both his Juris Doctor and M.B.A. in 2017.<\/p>\n

Robbins is the managing editor of the Albany Law Review. Recently, Mr. Robbins won the Albany Law School’s Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. Previously, he worked as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of New York.<\/p>\n

C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying, Architecture & Landscape Architecture, DPC announced three new hires.<\/p>\n

Christopher Ormsby<\/b> was hired as a staff geologist in the Environmental Services Division. Ormsby will be responsible for conducting various geologic field investigations related to Brownfield sites, petroleum spills and landfill monitoring.<\/p>\n

Ormsby earned a master of geology degree from Georgia State University. He previously worked for Flint Industries Inc. in Georgia as a fabricator.<\/p>\n

Justin Campbell was hired as a wetlands specialist\/environmental scientist in the Environmental Services Division. He will be responsible for field wetlands delineation work and biological assessments.<\/p>\n

Campbell earned a master of architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor of science degree in environmental science from Western Washington University. He previously worked for Fenstermaker & Associates as an environmental scientist and was responsible for environmental due diligence reporting, compliance and field assessments.<\/p>\n

Olya Prevo-White as solar project manager in the Energy Services Division. She will be responsible for managing C.T. Male’s growing solar PV consulting business.<\/p>\n

Prevo-White earned a bachelor of administration degree in international relations from Mount Holyoke College. She previously worked for Martin Electric as a project manager\/estimator and as a solar energy consultant for Alteris Renewables and Real Goods Solar. She is a NABCEP certified PV installation professional and licensed master electrician.<\/p>\n

Angela LaTerra<\/b>, marketing and communications director for the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau, was selected in this year’s Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) ’30 Under 30′ Class.<\/p>\n

DMAI received 95 submissions for the 2016 experience, the largest response since the program’s inception in 2011, officials said. DMAI is the world’s largest resource for destination marketing organizations and touts over 4,100 members from nearly 600 destinations in 15 countries around the world.<\/p>\n

The 30 individuals, 30 years of age and under, will engage in professional development, volunteer and networking opportunities throughout 2016. The honorees originate from a variety of destinations and backgrounds, from national tourism bureaus such as Brand USA and the Bermuda Tourism Authority to local convention and visitors bureaus.<\/p>\n

Now in its sixth year, ’30 Under 30′ is supported by founding program partner SearchWide, and sponsored by IMEX and USAE. The honorees will convene for the first time at DMAI’s Annual Convention Aug. 1-3 in Minneapolis. Recipients will be recognized Monday, Aug. 1.<\/p>\n

Colden Co. Inc. announced the hiring of Tanner Finney<\/b> as a technical specialist.<\/p>\n

Tanner comes to Colden, an IT services provider with offices in Ballston Spa, with an associate’s degree in computer science from ITT Technical Institute and four years of experience working with businesses. Tanner will be responsible for working with customers to keep their networks running optimally and ensuring proper security and backup.<\/p>\n

Roohan Realty announced that Paul Kisselbrack<\/b> has joined the company as an associate broker.<\/p>\n

Kisselbrack, of Saratoga Springs, is a lifelong resident of the Capital District and received a degree in criminal justice from Columbia Greene Community College. He is a retired detective from the Hudson Police Department with 20 years of service.<\/p>\n

He has been selling real estate for the past 12 years and had his own brokerage, Paul H. Kisselbrack Real Estate in Hudson. He is also an actor appearing in various television shows and movies, and was featured in the National Geographic production of “The Donnie Brasco Story,” playing the part of “Lefty Guns” Ruggerio.<\/p>\n

The New York State Federation of Lake Associations, Inc. (NYSFOLA) presented its 2016 Lake Steward Award to Dave Pierce<\/b>, Ballston Lake Improvement Association’s board member and Lake Management Committee chairman at the recent NYSFOLA annual meeting.<\/p>\n

The award is presented annually to a lake association volunteer who has gone above and beyond the call of duty for his\/her lake association.<\/p>\n

Among many activities, Pierce was instrumental in writing a grant that helped fund a study to measure the water quality in the inlets feeding Ballston Lake. He then led the study which took two years and required hundreds of samplings of the streams during high rain events.<\/p>\n

He also led the effort to set up the equipment and process needed to get lake data including water temperature, lake level and oxygen levels on a daily basis. He then worked on the collection of that data. His collaboration with Dr. Greg Boyer of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry provided a data analysis of waters along the shoreline of the lake.<\/p>\n

Pierce works regularly with the Saratoga County Soil and Water Conservation District to address issues that deal directly with the Ballston Lake Watershed. He has worked with the town to establish a detailed Ballston Lake water shed area.<\/p>\n

Christopher Jordan<\/b> was promoted to AVP\/credit analyst III at Ballston Spa National Bank.<\/p>\n

Jordan will be responsible for underwriting new and renewing commercial loan transactions. In this capacity, he will analyze financial statements, prepare loan proposals and ensure proper loan documents are executed for commercial borrowers.<\/p>\n

Jordan joined BSNB in 2006 as a credit analyst I in the commercial banking department. He has progressed to managing a client portfolio and has been a contributing member of the bank’s customer service committee. He graduated from Empire State College with an associate’s degree in business, economics and management.<\/p>\n

Active in the community, Jordan volunteers with the American Red Cross, Saratoga Hospital and St. Mary’s Church. He is also a member of the BSNB Volunteers in Action program, where he has supported a variety of causes, including delivering meals to area seniors and volunteering at the local library book sale.<\/p>\n

Morgan Stanley announced that Bryan Biagioli<\/b> has joined the firm’s wealth management office at 20 Maple St. in Glens Falls as a financial advisor.<\/p>\n

Biagioli has seven years of financial industry experience. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he spent several years working in New York City within institutional equity sales and trading.<\/p>\n

He received a B.S. in finance from Siena College. He is active in the local community and currently serves as chairman of The Community Hospice’s Associate Board and is a member of the Glens Falls Rotary Club.<\/p>\n

The matrimonial and family law firm of Donnellan & Knussman PLLC in Ballston Spa announced that Kathleen A. Nielson<\/b> has been inducted as president of the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association.<\/p>\n

She previously served as AWBA vice president. Nielson is an associate attorney with Donnellan & Knussman. She graduated from Albany Law School in 2014 and was admitted to the State Bar in January 2015.<\/p>\n

Nielson has worked for Donnellan & Knussman since March 2013 when she began as a law clerk. While at Albany Law School, she was an intern at the Seneca County Courthouse and the Office of Children and Family Services in the Childcare Bureau. She received her undergraduate degrees in psychology and political science from Syracuse University in 2011.<\/p>\n

Nielson practices family and matrimonial law and is also a member of the State Bar Association.<\/p>\n

Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP announced the hiring of a new associate, Paul A. Wolpert<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Wolpert joins Whiteman Osterman & Hanna’s Business, Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. His practice will focus on securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, public company reporting and compliance, and corporate governance matters.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the firm, Wolpert served as senior counsel to Ocwen Financial Corp. in West Palm Beach, Fla., and as an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, both in New York City and Sydney, Australia.<\/p>\n

Wolpert received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, in philosophy from Siena College. Wolpert is admitted to practice in New York state.<\/p>\n

Creatacor Inc., an exhibit design, fabrication and trade show management provider in Clifton Park, announced the addition of three new employees to the logistics and fabrication team.<\/p>\n

Patrick Taylor<\/b> joins Creatacor as a logistics technician. He will work as part of the production team, responsible for assembling displays from concept creation to a fully constructed structure.<\/p>\n

Two new fabrication technicians, John Hillis and Don Feeley, are working to assist in the construction, assembly, crating, and shipping process of trade show exhibits from typical in-line displays to multidivisional and multilevel corporate environments.<\/p>\n

Hillis studied architectural wood carving in England. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo.<\/p>\n

Beth Sabo Novik<\/b>, a Saratoga-based corporate trainer, workshop facilitator, wellness coach, licensed massage therapist, personal trainer and motivational speaker, was recently hired by Siemens to work with its technology sector staff in Raleigh, N.C., focusing on personal and professional health and wellness.<\/p>\n

Novik worked with employees for a week, offering daily lunchtime sessions including: Calm in the Chaos; How to Work from Home; Nutrition and Exercise; Illusive Sleep and Work\/Life Balance as well as daily strategy sessions: Stress Relief, Strategies for Eating and Exercising at Home; Strategies for Eating and Exercising while Travelling; The Back Pain Protocol; Meditation Made Easy; Finding Joy.<\/p>\n
