Saratoga Springs-based convenience store
\nretailer Stewart’s Shops<\/strong> was selected for the
\nIndustry of the Year Award by the Fulton
\nMontgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce.
\nThe award recognizes a business for
\npositive contribution to economic growth and
\nwell-being of the region.<\/p>\n
In 2015, Stewart’s Shops built four new
\nconvenience stores across Fulton and Montgomery
\ncounties to replace existing locations
\nin Northville, Palatine Bridge, Fort Plain and
\nJohnstown. In Johnstown, it replaced a building
\nthat sat vacant for decades. In 2014, the
\ncompany also moved to a new, larger location
