\nBeth Alexander announced that in honor of
\nits 50th anniversary, Saratoga Performing Arts
\nCenter will be the beneficiary of the annual
\nMardi Gras Soir\u00e9e and fundraiser, on Saturday,
\nJan. 16, from 6-10 p.m. at the Canfield Casino
\nin Congress Park in Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n
\nNight’s Dream” in celebration of the New York
\nCity Ballet’s inaugural performance that opened
\nSPAC in 1966.<\/p>\n
\nanniversary season.<\/p>\n
\nfounded the annual Marti Gras Soir\u00e9e to
\nsupport local nonprofit groups. Since then, the
\nevent has raised over $600,000 for various charities,
\nincluding Shelters of Saratoga, Saratoga
\nYMCA, Saratoga Hospital, Bridges of Saratoga,
\nSaratoga Sponsor a Scholar, Saratoga Community
\nCenter, SPAC, and Jake’s Help from Heaven.<\/p>\n
