Saratoga’s Kids Castle is a brand new \nrestaurant with an indoor kids’ play center that \nopened Aug. 1 in Congress Plaza in Saratoga \nSprings.<\/p>\n
Offering daily play and healthy meals for \nbabies, kids and adults, the cafe focuses on \nwholesome fun and food for the whole family, \nits owners said. \nSaratoga’s Kids Castle is owned by F \n& C Development 1113 LLC, owned by \ntwo experienced local entrepreneurs, Sara \nCummings and Patrick Fitch.<\/p>\n
Cummings used to run a similar business in \nClifton Park, and Fitch is part owner of Fitch \nBros LTD, which owns Saratoga City Tavern on \nCaroline Street in downtown Saratoga Springs \nand the recently revived Kings Tavern on Union \nAvenue, across from the main entrance of \nSaratoga Race Course.<\/p>\n
“We’re dedicated to making this a genuinely \nfun and safe restaurant that brings families \ntogether and reflects our passion for Saratoga \nwhile expanding the local kids’ scene in this \namazing city,” said Cummings. “Saratoga’s Kids \nCastle will be a place where parents can feel \ngood about taking their kids, from what they’re \neating to how their imaginations can run wild.”<\/p>\n
Saratoga’s Kids Castle will serve nutritious \nmeals and snacks with a menu co-created by \nregistered dietitian nutritionist Nichole Dooling \nof WholeNichole Nutrition.<\/p>\n
The main dining room is also open on \nweekends while the pirate and castle rooms are \nreserved for parties. \nOptions include homemade baby food, brick \nsandwiches and other kid-friendly meals, \nsnacks, grown-up entrees and a full cafe, \nfeaturing lattes, coffees, loose teas, smoothies \nand juices. Families with dietary restrictions can \nalso order off a specialty menu items catering \nto different food allergies and sensitivities, the \nowners said.<\/p>\n
The play areas will consist of oversized castle \nstructures, an elaborate walk-in pirate ship, \nplay and craft tables, a toddler area and plenty \nof other toys.<\/p>\n
All-day play admission is $10 per child, 9 \na.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, (with \na discounted rate of $7 for each additional \nchild, and free admission 4:30-7 p.m. weekdays. \nMonthly club membership to the Royal Court \nmakes unlimited weekday play visits affordable, \nand members also receive discounts and other \nperks, including 5 percent off all food at the \ncafe, special bring-a-guest-free days and more.<\/p>\n
In addition to general play hours, Saratoga’s \nKids Castle will host special events for holidays, \nsuch as father-daughter balls, Halloween parties \nand more. Saturday and Sunday birthday parties \nare also available for kids of all ages, with themes \nranging from Princess Spa Parties and Tea Tyme \nWith The Queen to Pirate Parties, Dragon Parties and many others.<\/p>\n
Parties are two hours long and include \noptions for themed party attendants, food \nchoices, personalized cake, face painting, dress \nup, party tees, goodie bags, return passes, club \nmembership and much more.<\/p>\n
