Bodywork Professionals of Latham has \nexpanded to a new location at 11 Spring St. in \nSaratoga Springs.<\/p>\n
Bodywork Professionals offers massage and \nseveral forms of bodywork including deep tissue \nmassage, Thai massage and craniosacral \ntherapy. In the expanded Saratoga location they \nare able to serve twice as many clients, owner \nNick Pavoldi said.<\/p>\n
Highlights also include a dedicated Thai massage \nroom and couples massages. \n“I started Bodywork Professionals to bring \ntogether the most talented career therapists \nto offer the most effective bodywork services,” \nsaid Pavoldi.<\/p>\n
“We are always advancing our skills \nso that we can offer our clients a variety of cutting \nedge techniques and services. We are passionate \nabout resolving pain and improving the mobility \nand function of our clients.”<\/p>\n
Pavoldi was voted the Capital Region’s Best \nMassage Therapist three times by Metroland. He \nis an advanced structural integration practitioner \nusing a manual therapy technique based on the \nnotion of functional simplicity ease through soft \ntissue organization. The technique was developed by Dr. Ida Rolf in the 1960s and is a unique form \nof massage, he said.<\/p>\n
“We offer talented and skilled therapists at \nreasonable prices. We have a simple model: be \nfair, honest and accessible, and deliver the best \nbodywork services we can,” Pavoldi said. “We stay \nvery true to the concept of bodywork, to apply \nsoft tissue techniques to improve function and \ndecrease pain. This really resonates with our \ncustomers.”<\/p>\n
Pavoldi and his staff are excited about what \ntheir new venture in Saratoga will bring. A grand \nopening event was held May 23.<\/p>\n
“Saratoga has a great legacy for health and wellness,” \nsaid Pavoldi. “In the Victorian era, massage \nwas cutting edge and it was hip to be healthy. I see \nthat notion coming back today, and I’m delighted \nto be leading the way.”<\/p>\n
Bodywork Professionals is open seven days a \nweek in Saratoga and Latham and accepts sameday \nor walk-in appointments. Hour are 9 a.m. to \n8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on \nSaturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The local \nshop can be reached at 557-5514.
