\nKey Bank hired Ruth Mahoney<\/strong> as
\nits new Capital Region
\npresident.<\/p>\n

She will be the
\nregional leader for
\nKeyBank’s private
\nbanking teams in the
\nCapital Region and the
\nHudson Valley.<\/p>\n

Mahoney was most
\nrecently president of KeyBank’s Hudson Valley\/
\nMetro NY market, but she has a lot of experience
\nwith the Albany banking and wealth
\nmanagement market, having worked 20 of her
\n26 years in the financial services industry in
\nthe Capital Region.<\/p>\n

She started her banking career as a retail
\nbanking officer at Bank of Ireland in Dublin,
\nand joined Key as a KeyBank management associate
\nin 1991 after attending Marist College.<\/p>\n

Between 2006 and 2010, she was senior vice
\npresident and market manager for the Capital
\nRegion and Hudson Valley districts for Key
\nPrivate Bank. Mahoney won the 2014 Corporate
\nChampion Award from the YWCA of White
\nPlains and the Westchester Business Council
\nCorporate Champion Award in 2013.<\/p>\n

The Saratoga Schenectady Schoharie Association
\nof Realtors Inc. announced Debbi
\nLeahey<\/strong> as the new chief of staff for the tri-county
\nassociation.<\/p>\n

A native of Ballston Spa and graduate of
\nSkidmore College, Leahey said 2015 will busy
\nfor the association, including fundraising
\nevents to benefit community charities, continuing
\neducation opportunities and a new
\nleadership training program. After completing
\nher training, Leahey will become the association

Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co. appointed
\nKevin Catalano<\/strong> to vice president
\nof corporate banking.<\/p>\n

Catalano will develop and manage commercial
\nlending relationships in the Capital
\nDistrict. He will be based out of the Bank’s
\nColonie office as well as the new Troy office
\nwhen it opens later this year.<\/p>\n

Catalano joins Saratoga National Bank
\nwith more than 16 years of banking and
\nlending experience in the region. He has a
\nbachelor’s degree in marketing from SUNY
\nPlattsburgh and an MBA from Sage Graduate
\nSchool. He is also a graduate of the Albany-
\nColonie Regional Chamber of Commerce’s
\nExecutive Institute and Leadership Tech
\nValley’s Class of 2008.<\/p>\n

Active in his community, he is a mentor
\nto budding entrepreneurs. He taught a financing
\ncourse for the Regional Chambers
\nEntrepreneur Bootcamp and has served as a
\nbusiness plan competition judge and a panelist
\nat several small business forms. In 2011,
\nhe was named Financial Services Champion
\nof the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration
\nfor New York’s Region II.<\/p>\n

\nthat attorney Megan Collelo<\/b> joined the firm

Collelo will work between the firm’s Albany

Collelo joins the team from Trans States

\nCompass Airlines, LLC) in Bridgeton, Mo.,
\nwhere she served in the Office of General
\nCounsel for two years. Her representation in
\nthe area of labor and employment spanned
\nfrom handling grievances and arbitrations
\nand negotiating labor contracts under the
\nRailway Labor Act, defending lawsuits
\nbrought under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and
\nFMLA, as well as state anti-discrimination
\nstatutes, handling unemployment compensation
\nappeals, conducting internal
\ninvestigations and mediating employment
\ndiscrimination claims before the EEOC. She
\nhas also worked on appeals briefs to the 7th
\nand 8th Circuit Courts of Appeals.<\/p>\n

Collelo received her J.D. from University
\nof Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.S.,
\nmagna cum laude, from University of Scranton.
\nShe is admitted to practice in New York,
\nIllinois, Missouri and Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

\nMcLaughlin<\/strong> was
\npromoted to vice president

McLaughlin has

\nthe industry and was previously with Lincoln
\nLogs and Bast Hatfield Construction.
\nHe is a graduate of SUNY Cortland and

Gov. Andrew Cuomo appointed Anthony
\nJ. Bonomo<\/strong> as the new board chairman of
\nthe New York Racing Association.<\/p>\n

The position had been vacant since
\nDecember, when David Skorton stepped
\ndown to become the new secretary of the
\nSmithsonian.<\/p>\n

Bonomo is chief executive of Administrators
\nfor the Professions, which operates Physicians’
\nReciprocal Insurers, an insurance
\ncompany for medical professionals.<\/p>\n

In 2010, he was appointed to the NYRA
\nboard by the state Senate. In 2012, he was
\nnamed to the NYRA Reorganization Board,
\nan oversight effort to address the structure
\nand finances of the nonprofit quasi-state
