PeroxyChem will begin construction on its
\nhydrogen peroxide purification plant this summer
\nin the Grande Industrial Park in Saratoga
\nSprings.<\/p>\n
Company officials said the Saratoga Springs
\nlocation was chosen in response to the needs
\nof GlobalFoundries, to which PeroxyChem is a
\nproduct supplier.<\/p>\n
The factory is designed to support the Fab 8
\nchip plant in Malta, where the computer chip
\nmanufacturer uses hydrogen peroxide to clean
\nand remove impurities during production.<\/p>\n
The new facility will become PeroxyChem’s
\nsecond hydrogen peroxide purification facility
\nin the U.S. and third worldwide, according to the
\ncompany’s Global Business Director Stephanie
\nMontag.<\/p>\n
PeroxyChem’s factory will create 10 managerial,
\nlaboratory and chemical manufacturing
\njobs, she said.
\nMontag said construction will begin this spring
