GlobalFoundries<\/strong> recently recognized
\nthe winners of its first-ever global Supplier
\nAwards at the company’s 2014 Supplier Day
\nevent in Malta.<\/p>\n

Recipients were recognized for their exceptional
\ncollaboration and support, as well
\nas a demonstrated ability to perform at the
\nhighest level based on the specific needs of
\nGlobalFoundries.<\/p>\n

JSR Corp. was named the recipient of
\nthe Excellence Award for Collaboration
\nand Sustained Support. Headquartered in
\nTokyo, provides advanced materials for the
\nsemiconductor, flat panel display, and optical
\nmaterials fields. JSR Corp. is the first supplier
\nto meet GlobalFoundries’ formal award
\ncriteria, officials said.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Spotlight Awards for suppliers
\nthat exhibited superior performance and collaboration
\nwere presented to Lam Research,
