The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association
\nwill hold its 10th annual “The Way We
\nWere” car show on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to
\n4 p.m. on Front Street in Ballston Spa.
\nDue to late scheduling, there will be no rain
\ndate for this event, officials said.<\/p>\n

All proceeds will benefit community activities
\nsponsored by the BSBPA.
\nFront Street will have a wide variety of cars
\nand trucks on display, and there will be outdoor
\nbarbecues, vendors, and music.<\/p>\n

Front Street will be blocked off from Milton
\nAvenue past the Old Iron Springs to accommodate
\ncar exhibits and vendors. In the past, the event
\nhas attracted hundreds of display vehicles and
\nthousands of automobile aficionados from all over
\nthe region, the association said.<\/p>\n

Vehicles will be judged and several trophies will be awarded, including Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Stock, Oldest Vehicle plus the top five in each of 13 categories. Judging begins at 9 a.m. with trophies awarded at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The event is free to spectators. Exhibitors can pre-register by Oct. 1 for $10 per car, or $15 on the day of show.<\/p>\n

Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 cars registered and the first 200 cars registered will receive car show souvenirs.<\/p>\n

A printable registration form is available on the BSBPA website, www.ballston.org. Registration flyers are also available at Mangino Buick GMC in Ballston Spa and Mangino Chevrolet in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n
