Six Flags Great Escape Resort in Queensbury announced its newest attraction for 2020, Adirondack Outlaw.
The ride “will have guests catching maximum airtime and experiencing 360-degree rotations of heart-pounding excitement,” the company said in a news release. “The head over heels exhilaration of Adirondack Outlaw whips riders through the air at speeds of 50 miles per hour, as it swings 16 stories high over The Great Escape theme park.”
“Six Flags is the industry leader in thrill ride innovations and recognized throughout the world for introducing groundbreaking new rides and attractions every year,” said Six Flags Great Escape Resort President Rebecca Wood “Adirondack Outlaw is a revolutionary, new addition to our park that delivers an incredible experience for guests of all ages.”
The company said Adirondack Outlaw spins riders head over heels and upwards of 165 feet through the sky; has speeds of 50 miles per hour; provides an open-air experience, with 360 degree revolutions, offers spectacular views of the entire resort.

The Great Escape also announced the start of 2020 season pass sales.
Launched last year, the Six Flags Membership program offers guests a wide range of valuable benefits such as preferred parking every visit, unlimited soft drinks, 50 percent off almost all food and merchandise in the park and perks that are only available to members. Members can earn points for almost everything they do at the park. Points can be redeemed for free food, merchandise, and special experiences, officials said.
