Six Flags Great Escape Resort in Lake George will rebrand its outdoor water park as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for the 2019 season
The park will undergo a major expansion with more to see and do than ever before, including two new attractions; a bright, tropical theming throughout; and a new dining location.
Officials said it will offer guests a bigger, and better experience.
“Hurricane Harbor will offer exciting, new attractions with Bucket Blasters and Shipwreck Cove, plus a completely new look featuring imaginative, tropical theming and a myriad of park enhancements to delight guests of all ages” said Six Flags Great Escape Resort President Eric Gilbert.
“Six Flags is a world-renowned leader in thrills and innovation, and we are excited that our outdoor water park is getting fresh, new updates to become Hurricane Harbor,” he said.
The company said Hurricane Harbor highlights will include:
• A 14,000 square foot water play area expansion.
• Two new water attractions—Bucket Blasters and Shipwreck Cove.
• Expanded seating areas, featuring shaded zones and a new food location.
On Bucket Blasters, riders will spin around in water barrels equipped with water guns for a splashing battle with friends, family and bystanders.
Shipwreck Cove will feature a fun activity pool with interactive water sprays, geysers, and fountains for hours of water play entertainment.
