Licensed real estate broker Cindy Quade has been working with home buyers, sellers and builders for more than 30 years.
She recently re-branded her successful firm, Signature Homes, to Signature One Realty Group, Inc. and she relocated to 2575 Route 9 in Malta, directly across from Ace Hardware and strategically located between Malta and Saratoga Springs.
Quade said the re-branding works with all the new things her team is doing and it embodies “all the things we’re about.”
She said Signature One is nothing like the larger “big box” realty groups. It is a boutique brokerage. While each member of her team is an independent agent, there is still a sense of camaraderie and team effort.
“We all work very well together,” said Quade.
In addition to the completely renovated website, Signature One’s new office has been modernized and redesigned to create an open shared workspace and an area where clients can feel relaxed and at home. Quade said the space mirrors the team’s commitment to creating personalized and individualized service suited to the needs of each client.
Quade has had a lot of experience working with builders on new construction, which includes a lot of design work. She designed the entire space herself. Exterior work included replacing the roof, re-painting and installing new landscaping, giving the building a completely new look and feel.
Quade chose the new location partly because she wanted Signature One to become part of the community of residents and business owners in the fast-growing Malta area, but also because the location is close to the Northway, making it very easy for clients to find the office.
With customers from Queensbury all the way south to East Greenbush, Guilderland and Bethlehem, having a central location was important to Quade when making the decision to move from their former location on Brown Road.
“We have a lot of new business from all over the Capital Region, with a clientele ranging from first-time home buyers to empty nesters,” said Quade. “We want to be known as the neighborhood realtor as well as a neighbor ourselves.”
“The beauty of being a small broker is that we are not driven by amassing large numbers of agents. I’m driven by the fact that we are small and really enjoy each other, and we also have a healthy competition among us,” said Quade.
Signature One added two new agents this year, bringing the total number to 12.
“The other agents are working with the new agents and mentoring them. I like to help build somebody else’s business. And we all grow together and do good things,” said Quade.
