Leadership Saratoga, a program of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, announced its 32nd class of participants.
The Leadership Saratoga program selects up to 24 people each year to participate in an intensive nine month training program designed to teach them skills for stronger leadership, group dynamics, and issues facing Saratoga County and area nonprofits. After completion of the program participants are expected to volunteer as leaders in their communities within Saratoga County.
The group held its opening retreat in September at Minnowbrook Conference Center in Blue Mountain Lake.
Members of the Class of 2018-2019 are: Marissa Ainsworth, Schneider Electric; Jessica Anderson, Dialysis Clinic; Stefanie Bastien, the Alzheimer’s Association; Jake Behuniak, Marshall and Sterling; Dave Blair, Casella Waste Systems; Lindsey Connors, city of Saratoga Springs; Michelle DeGarmo, Flately Read Inc.; Scott Ferris, Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service; Cathy Hoehn, state Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors.
Shawna Jenks, Whitman Brewing Co; Dan Keating, BPI Mechanical; Mary Beth McGarrahan, Universal Preservation Hall; Rebecca Misener, Medtronic; Tina Morency, Stewart’s Shops; Eric Navarra, Adirondack Trust Co.; Frank Nesbitt, DeCrescente Distributing Co.; Krystle Nowhitney Hernandez, Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council; Diane O’Connor, Skidmore College; Josh Phelps, AIM Services Inc.; Nikki Proctor, Flately Read Inc.; Sandra Reulet, Amanda Troutman, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals; and Zach Zaloga, Morgan Stanley.
In addition to the various sessions they will attend, participants will also work on group projects to benefit four area nonprofits; Caffe Lena, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties, Home Made Theater, and Mechanicville Area Community Services Center.
