Roohan Realty announced that Diana Gise has joined the company as a licensed real estate salesperson.
Gise has a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from SUNY Oneonta. She has 20 years of experience in the nutrition and wellness field.
She is a member of the Greater Capital Region Association of Realtors (GCAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Gise lives in Malta. Her family is active in the Saratoga fitness community, as members of the Saratoga YMCA and USTA, and participates in many local 5K races.

Death Wish Coffee Company has hired Shannon Sweeney as its new content manager.
Sweeney graduated Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in both print and digital journalism and political science.
She will now oversee all content creation for Death Wish Coffee’s website. As the newest member of the marketing team, she will be generating a web content strategy that aligns with the company’s larger goals.
Previously, Sweeney was a reporter for the Albany Business Review where she covered education and health care.
She then moved on to be a copywriter for Creative Communication Associates.

The Wesley Community announced that Traci Jersen was appointed to the board of directors of The Wesley Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Wesley Community.
Jersen has more than 15 years of experience in the long-term care profession and previously served as the vice president of marketing for 6N Systems, where she helped develop, document and promote electronic records for long-term and post-acute care service providers.
Jersen is an active volunteer and serves as the president of the board for Saratoga City Ballet, Inc., and served as president of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) Action Council from 2013 to 2015, where she still serves as a member. She currently manages her own marketing consulting firm and resides in Saratoga Springs.
In addition to the recent appointment, The Wesley Community and The Wesley Foundation announced new officers for both boards for the 2018-19 year.
The officers appointed to the board of directors of The Wesley Community are Andrew J. Wise, ;president; Carol Shippey, first vice president; Carla Williams, second vice president; Helen A. Endres, secretary; and Jack Arnold, treasurer.

A native of Long Island, graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Stony Brook University Honors College in 2004. She earned her dental degree in 2008, and completed her post-graduate orthodontic education in 2011, both at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
Kroboth is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Ninth District Dental Society, and currently serves as vice president of the Dutchess County Dental Society.
