The Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership announced the completion and launch of new marketing resource it says will strengthen the collaborative effort to attract new businesses and private investment to Saratoga County.
The Saratoga Partnership worked with the Saratoga County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) to spearhead development of the agency’s new logo—its first since the organization was founded nearly 50 years ago—and a modern website to replace one that had not been updated in more than a decade.
Aligned with the brand identity of the Saratoga Partnership, the new IDA logo and website support a unified message that effectively markets Saratoga County’s world-class business tools and assets to prospective companies and employees across a variety of industries, officials said.
The website also provides operational transparency that is important to both internal and external stakeholders.
The new marketing resources also complement a unique business incentive program already in effect. The Saratoga Partnership refunds to applicants the fees it receives for processing IDA applications as a way of further supporting economic development and job growth.
“It is critical that we speak with one voice when promoting Saratoga County as a great place to work and do business, and this initiative is an important step forward in making that a reality,” said Edward Kinowski, chairman of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors.”
“A unified and coordinated approach to promoting the advantages of Saratoga County to businesses near and far is necessary to drive long-term, sustainable economic development,” said Marty Vanags, president of the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership. “We are delighted to have partnered with the IDA to strengthen the marketing resources that let businesses know Saratoga County’s economic development organizations are committed to their success.”
IDA Chairman Rod Sutton said Saratoga County has been the focal point of economic development in Upstate New York for the past 30 years.
“With its stable tax base, diverse workforce, and a good transportation network, Saratoga County is the place to invest,” he said. “The Saratoga County IDA is proud to partner with the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership in developing a new and comprehensive website promoting the benefits of locating businesses in Saratoga County.
