The Adirondack Sports Winter Expo returns to the Saratoga Springs City Center on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19 and 20.
The show features 100 exhibitors covering all winter sports and things attendees need for alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, plus winter health, fitness, travel and more.
There will be sales on alpine and Nordic gear, clothing, footwear, demos, seminars and fun family activities. Attendees will be eligible to win $5,000 in prizes to ski resorts, outdoor shops, winter/summer races, health professionals, fitness centers and travel destinations.
On the alpine side, representatives from Gore, West, Whiteface, Willard, Stowe, Bromley and other ski centers will be the. Alpine Sport Shop, Steiner’s Ski & Bike and other shops will also be on hand.
Organizers said the Adirondack Sports expos are famous for their sales with a mix of retailers and organizations selling and marketing products and services, including Mountainman Outdoors, Garnet Hill Lodge, Plaine and Son/Collamer House, Cascade Ski Center, High Peaks Cyclery, Dion Snowshoes and more.
Many outdoor sports clubs in the area will be represented, including Out of Control Ski Club, NYS Ski Racing Association/Nordic, Saratoga Stryders and HURT Nordic.
For people more into healthy living, summer sports or protecting the environment, there will be representation from 9 Miles East, Apex Solar Power, St. George’s Turkey Trot, Arbonne, the Crux Climbing Center, Northeast Foot Care, Proactive Chiropractic, Real Time Pain Relief and more.
Activities for adults and families include Damien’s Rock Wall, the interactive Health, Fitness and Recovery Zone, and a craft beer tasting area.
The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York will be on hand to collect food and monetary donations over the weekend. Attendees with donations increase their chances of winning prizes with additional tickets.
Admission is $5 for adults. Those 18 and under are free. Hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4p.m.
