The former Lola Accessory Boutique in Saratoga Springs has a new name, a new location and is about to launch a new product line.
The shop, now known as Lola Saratoga, moved in April to larger quarters at 372 Broadway, a location that allows greater visibility and an expanded assortment of merchandise, according to its owner, Megan Druckman.
The store sells women’s handbags, jewelry and accessories and some paper goods. Their products include Rebecca Minkoff handbags and they are the only Capital Region outlet for Kate Spade products, Druckman said.
In July, Lola will begin to offer Tory Burch handbags and small accessories. Druckman said that, until the Tory Burch products arrive in her shop, the nearest place to purchase them will be Bloomingdale's in Westchester County. Hers will be the exclusive outlet in the area and she said that she is assured that no other store within a 25-mile radius will be able to offer the brand.
Druckman describes the Tory Burch brand as "high end, out of Manhattan." Prices will range from $65 for some of the smaller items to $400 or more for large leather handbags. Lola Saratoga carries a few items lower in price than that, including earrings from $20 but, on the whole, that is the store's overall price range.
Druckman is a Capital Region native and spent seven years as a buyer with Bloomingdale's.
"Because of the relationships I developed at Bloomingdale's, I am able to offer the most compelling assortment of fashion accessories at competitive prices," she said.
She opened the Lola Accessory Boutique, three years ago and currently has four employees at her new location 352 Broadway.
The shop is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The telephone number is 306-5250. You can also find them on Facebook and Instagram.
