Mark Shaw, president of Stored Technology Solutions, has a simple and straightforward business philosophy.
“When clients ask for a product or service, we don’t like to say ‘no,'” he said.
So, when his company, Stored Technology Solutions, began receiving repeated inquiries from their customers for a training space, he decided it was time to give them one.
Storedtech offers clients a “comprehensive portfolio of voice, data, and video solutions,” according to its website, and the company’s rapid expansion is a result of being responsive to the needs of its customers.
Stored Technology Solutions' newest space is called the StoredTech Collaboration Center and offers clients a venue to train their employees, hold large meetings, and take advantage of the onsite technology.
The Collaboration Center is one of the two physical expansions that StoredTech has undergone recently. Soon after the Collaboration Center opened, Shaw also opened a new office at the business park just off Western Avenue in Guilderland.
"Earlier in our business, we had not considered Albany to be a primary market," said Shaw. "But, after taking another look at the market and having several conversations with our Mergers & Acquisitions team, we quickly realized that we needed to re-evaluate our analysis. Albany is an ideal market for us at this point, and we anticipate expanding our existing 1,000 square foot Albany location to eventually become a 5,000 square foot space," he said.
The new Collaboration Center in Queensbury, he said, is a venue for businesses to share their own latest technological advancements with their potential clients in a relaxed setting that lends itself to open dialogue and dissemination of information.
