named Jason Kinsey
as its vice president of
sales.
Kinsey brings 16
years of industry experience,
specializing in
office equipment and
solutions. A Saratoga
Springs native and
a graduate of SUNY
Plattsburgh, he has a familiarity with various areas
of the North Country.
Kinsey has a degree in graphic design and
business/marketing. He will lead the sales organization
as well as assist in the development of
marketing strategies and sales campaigns.

Stored Technology Solutions Inc. (StoredTech)
announced that Doug Gillson, an industry veteran,
was appointed as new vice president of infrastructure.
Gillson will lead StoredTech’s expanding Telecom
Division, which includes products and services
related to voice, physical security systems,
access control systems and video surveillance
systems and services.
Gillson has been in the industry for over 30
years, having co-founded Tech II Business Services
in Saratoga Springs.

Debbie Verni, a partner in the Herzog Law
Firm PC, was elected president of Soroptimist International
of Saratoga County.
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer
movement working to transform the lives of
women and children through programs leading to
social and economic empowerment. Soroptimist
International of Saratoga County provides more
than $20,000 in awards and grants to improve the
lives of women and girls both locally and globally
each year.
Two major fundraisers, Cabin Fever and Secret
Garden, are held each year. Cabin Fever will be
held on Jan. 2 at Saratoga National Golf Club with
key note speaker Anna Therese Day, independent
journalist and social media researcher, who will
discuss global civil society organizing, new media
activism, and Middle East politics.

Saratoga Casino and Raceway announced that
Corinna Milazzo has joined the team as director
of hotel operations.
Milazzo will oversee the sales, front desk,
housekeeping, laundry and night audit for
Saratoga Casino and Raceway’s new hotel.
Corinna brings experience from more than
15 years in the hospitality industry. She has held
various executive level positions including chief
financial officer, chief operating officer and corporate
controller at the Desmond Hotel in Albany.
She was most recently controller for the Gideon
Putnam Resort in Saratoga Springs.

that Tara Anne Pleat has been named a
fellow of the New York State Bar Foundation.
Fellows are nominated by peers and recognized
for distinguished achievement, dedication

She practices in the areas of special needs estate
planning and administration, traditional estate
planning and administration, long-term care
planning, and elder law.
Pleat graduated cum laude from Albany Law
School and earned her undergraduate degree
from SUNY Albany.
After undergraduate school, she began working
as an estate planning paralegal in Albany. She
graduated from Albany Law School in 2002 with
honors in the estate planning concentration.
