The 16th annual Artisans Market at Brookside
Museum in Ballston Spa will run through
Dec. 23.
The market is open Tuesday through Friday
from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening hours will be announced
in December.
The Artisans Market features handmade
items from Leanna’s Designs, Saratoga Notecards,
Sundae’s Best Hot Fudge, Cobble
Hill Farms Apothecary, Adam Cielinski
woodworking, Studio in the Pines, Mohawk
Enterprises, Marilyn Rose Photography, DEG

Farm, and Hoosick Hickory.
“I am thrilled with the variety of merchandise
and crafters we have represented,” Gayle
King, museum executive director. “The market
is a great opportunity to complete holiday
shopping and benefit the Saratoga Historical
Society.”
Jewelry, note cards, prints, photography,
rustic lighting, hot fudge, wood cutting boards
and bowls, soaps, lotions, lip balm, ornaments,
oak banks, fishing rod holders, honey, candles,
maple syrup, seasoning rubs, fresh catnip and
cat items, key chains, textiles, knitted and
crocheted items are just among the crafts
represented.
As home of the Saratoga County Historical
Society, Brookside Museum, 6 Charlton
St., Ballston Spa, promotes a deeper understanding,
appreciation, and enjoyment of
Saratoga County's past for people of all ages,
backgrounds, and levels of interest through
educational programs, innovative exhibits,
ambitious web programming, personal experiences,
and enduring relationships.

Twelve local artists have also gathered together
to host "Gifted", a holiday gift boutique,
at The Shops of Malta on Kendall Way, Dec.
12-13 and Dec. 19-20.
The boutique will feature handmade and
original works of art including: fiber arts and
textiles, flame worked glass and silver jewelry,
uniquely designed handbags, watercolor, oil,
acrylic and encaustic paintings, hand made
cards, sculpture & pottery.
Participating artists are Susan Beadle, Carrie
Cass, Rhea Love Doran, Fritelli&Lockwood,
Fred Holman, Michelle La Londe, Joy Mc-
Coola, Nancy Miller, Laura Neadle, Anastasia
Nute, Dolores Thomson, and Kay Zwirn.
The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
at The Shops of Malta, Kendall Way, Malta.
An Opening Reception will be held Sunday
