The Wesley Community announced that
longtime employee Cindy Canzeri-Labish has received the coveted 2015 Professional of the Year Award from LeadingAge New York.
The award is a statewide honor recognizing
extraordinary dedication by front-line staff at
member communities in service to older adults.
Leading Age New York represents nonprofit,
mission-driven and public continuing care providers,
including nursing homes, senior housing,
adult care facilities, continuing care retirement
communities, assisted living and community
service providers.

Cindy Canzeri-Labish has been chosen for this
prestigious honor,” said Brian Nealon, CEO.
“For more than 15 years she has displayed and
unparalleled dedication to the Wesley Health
Care Center. We thank Cindy for her hard work and applaud LeadingAge New York for selecting
such a deserving candidate.”
Canzeri-Labish oversees 400 employees as the
Wesley Health Care Center director of nursing, a
position she has held since 1999. Additionally, she
serves on numerous local and statewide boards
and committees, provides consultation to several
health care facilities, and has lead health care
symposiums throughout North America.
Canzeri-Labish’s community service includes
roles at her church, the New Skete Chapel Community
in Cambridge, where she is a parishioner
and volunteer. She also volunteers at the Hubbard
Hall Center for the Arts and Education,
and for community dinners and annual events
in Washington County.
The Wesley Community provides independent
housing for older adults and skilled nursing care
on a single site.
