Bodywork Professionals of Latham has
expanded to a new location at 11 Spring St. in
Saratoga Springs.
Bodywork Professionals offers massage and
several forms of bodywork including deep tissue
massage, Thai massage and craniosacral
therapy. In the expanded Saratoga location they
are able to serve twice as many clients, owner
Nick Pavoldi said.
Highlights also include a dedicated Thai massage
room and couples massages.
“I started Bodywork Professionals to bring
together the most talented career therapists
to offer the most effective bodywork services,”
said Pavoldi.
“We are always advancing our skills
so that we can offer our clients a variety of cutting
edge techniques and services. We are passionate
about resolving pain and improving the mobility
and function of our clients.”
Pavoldi was voted the Capital Region’s Best
Massage Therapist three times by Metroland. He
is an advanced structural integration practitioner
using a manual therapy technique based on the
notion of functional simplicity ease through soft
tissue organization. The technique was developed by Dr. Ida Rolf in the 1960s and is a unique form
of massage, he said.
“We offer talented and skilled therapists at
reasonable prices. We have a simple model: be
fair, honest and accessible, and deliver the best
bodywork services we can,” Pavoldi said. “We stay
very true to the concept of bodywork, to apply
soft tissue techniques to improve function and
decrease pain. This really resonates with our
customers.”
Pavoldi and his staff are excited about what
their new venture in Saratoga will bring. A grand
opening event was held May 23.
“Saratoga has a great legacy for health and wellness,”
said Pavoldi. “In the Victorian era, massage
was cutting edge and it was hip to be healthy. I see
that notion coming back today, and I’m delighted
to be leading the way.”
Bodywork Professionals is open seven days a
week in Saratoga and Latham and accepts sameday
or walk-in appointments. Hour are 9 a.m. to
8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on
Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The local
