Roohan Realty announced its top sales
agents for 2014.
Named were Julie Bonacio, Valerie
Thompson, Kate R. Naughton, Meg Minehan,
Carole Tarantino, Palma Pedrick,
Chris Benton, Darlene Chorman, Tamara
Valentine and Mara King.
The Rookie of the Year award went to Tara
Garrett and the top commercial real estate
agent was Amy Sutton.
The company said that in total, the Realtors
achieved over $87 million in real estate
property sales last year.
The Adirondack

that Guy Alonge
III was elected to its
board of directors.
Alonge is president
of the Amsure Division
of Adirondack Trust
Co. Financial Services
Inc. (ATCFSI) and
senior vice president
of Adirondack Trust Co. Financial Services
Inc. in Saratoga Springs. He joined ATCFSI in
2008, with the ATCFSI acquisition of Amsure.
Alonge has over 30 years’ experience in the
insurance industry. Prior to joining Amsure, he
held underwriting positions with the Reliance
Insurance Co. in Philadelphia and Baltimore
and served as a merger and acquisition consultant
for Price Waterhouse in New York. Additionally,
he was formerly a principal in the
private equity firm Frost Capital.
Alonge received an undergraduate degree
from the University at Albany and earned his
MBA from New York University’s Stern School
of Business. He also holds the chartered property/
casualty underwriter designation.
C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying,
Architecture & Landscape Architecture,
DPC named Jim Thatcher as manager, community
development in the Civil Engineering
Division.
Thatcher will be responsible for identifying
federal and state funding resources that match
C.T. Male’s client project and community
needs, assisting clients with preparation of
funding proposals, and implementing projects
through all phases of grant administration and
compliance. He will assist with the promotion
of C.T. Male’s business development strategies
to support and grow the existing services of
the firm and more fully meet the project needs
of new and existing clients.
Thatcher earned a master’s degree in public
administration from Cornell University.
He previously worked for Avalon Associates,
Inc. in Glens Falls, as a senior associate
of community development, where he was a
consultant to municipalities and nonprofit
organizations throughout Upstate New York.
Adirondack Technical
Solutions announced
the hiring of
Ashley LaVoy as a corporate
account manager
with a focus on the
Glens Falls Region.
Her efforts will be
to service the large
client base within the
region and cultivate
new relationships.
LaVoy was formerly programs and
events coordinator for the Adirondack
Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Amy S. O’Connor,
a shareholder with the

as chairwoman of the
firm’s Trusts, Estates
and Elder Law Practice
Group.
She succeeds Richard
D. Cirincione, who
along with Scott A.
Barbour, became managing principal of the
firm on Jan. 1. Cirincione will continue to
practice in the Trusts, Estates and Elder Law
Practice Group with O’Connor and the department’s
other attorneys.
O’Connor’s practice encompasses all aspects
of estate planning, estate administration,
trusts, guardianships, and elder law, with
a focus on assisting elderly clients and their
families with legal and tax issues, including
estate tax planning, preservation of assets,
long-term care planning, and eligibility for
governmental benefits.

David Kaiser to the
position of senior vice
president.
He will have overall
responsibility for the
corporation’s lending
function.
Kaiser will continue to serve as chief credit
officer and executive vice president for Glens
Falls National Bank and Trust Co., Arrow’s
lead subsidiary.
He joined the company in 2001 and has
more than 30 years of commercial lending experience
in the Capital Region. In 2011, Kaiser
was named chief credit officer for Glens Falls
National Bank, followed by a promotion to
executive vice president for the bank in 2012.
Kaiser has a bachelor’s degree in business
administration from Siena College. Active in
the community, he is a board member for the
Prospect Child and Family Center, Treasurer
for the Glen at Hiland Meadows, and an Assistant
Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts Troop 4. He
is also a member of the Fort Hudson Health
System Capital Campaign Committee, the
Warren County Local Development Corp. Loan
Review Committee, and the Our Lady of the
Annunciation Finance Committee.

originator.
Tripoli will work to meet the mortgage
needs of customers in the Capital Region. He
will be based out of the Colonie and Clifton

Tripoli joins Saratoga National Bank with
more than 17 years of mortgage experience at
other local lending institutions. A Schenectady
native, he is a graduate of Mont Pleasant High
School and an active member of the Rotterdam

As an assistant vice president at Empire
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Gallacchi received
the Chairman’s Award for Leadership as a
result of her efforts to relocate and rebuild Empire’s corporate offices in the aftermath of
the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11/2001.
In 2004 she joined Medco Health Solutions,
now Express Scripts, a Fortune 20 company.
In her role of vice president, infrastructure

of account director Kori-Ann Taylor and Rajneesh
P. Uzgare, who has a Ph.D. in immunology
to the agency’s medical strategy team.

Yates is graphic designer, and Whitt-Flicker is an
award-winning copywriter.
Taylor is a communications industry veteran
with a portfolio of experience that includes senior

Gov. George Pataki, Sen. Thomas Morahan and
the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. She
has pharmaceutical agency experience and has
worked with such clients as BMS/AstraZeneca on
global diabetes marketing initiatives and Amylin,

Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree at the
College of Saint Rose and her master’s from SUNY
Albany.
Uzgare has more than a decade of experience in
biotech, specialty pharmaceuticals and academia,
having penned a successful cancer research grant
application as a fellow at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive
Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
He specializes in pharmaceutical research, pharmaceutical
program planning and development,
and strategic execution. He brings his philosophy

Uzgare earned his undergraduate and master’s
degrees in microbiology at Bombay University in
Mumbai, and his Ph.D. in immunology at Baylor
College of Medicine in Houston.
As an in-house graphic designer for Trans World
Entertainment, Yates worked with entertainment
industry, producing custom promotional visuals for
the likes of Sony, Universal and Warner. Yates is a
University of Delaware graduate.
