The Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show, an
annual fundraiser organized by the Saratoga
Springs Rotary Club, will take place Feb. 27 to
March 1 at the Saratoga Springs City Center.
The show will feature approximately 120 exhibitors
throughout the first floor of the Saratoga
Springs City Center, with a wide range of home
improvement, outdoor living and landscaping,
family recreation, and lifestyle products and services,
Rotary officials said. Attendees have the
chance to win several types of prizes, including
hourly door prizes, and a grand prize.
The Rotary Club hopes to raise close to
$100,000 from the event, with proceeds being distributed to community organizations, youth
scholarships, and international humanitarian
projects.
In addition to exhibits, the show will feature
special events and activities:
Wine and craft beer tasting with Saratoga
Winery, Friday 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday
4:00-6:30 p.m.; “Saratoga Concepts” art show
and auction featuring 20 Saratoga-themed works
from 14 area artists, (auction begins Saturday
at 4:30 p.m.); cooking demonstrations by Boca
Bistro on Saturday at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.;
pet adoption with H.O.P.E. on Sunday 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday is Kids’ Day with free admission for
those under age 17, with Balloon Gal Jenny and
JoJo’s Face Painting 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Rotary officials noted local businesses are important
supporters of the event. The Adirondack
Trust Co. is the major sponsor. Other sponsors
include Allerdice ACE Building Supply (door
prizes), Champion Window (grand prize),
Granite & Marble Works (supporting sponsor),
The Saratogian (advertising), Saratoga Today
(magazine), and Edward Jones (hospitality).
The show will run Friday, Feb. 27, 5-9 p.m.;
Saturday, Feb. 28, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday,
March 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for
adults, $1 for kids 5-12, under 5 free.
