Complexions Spa for Beauty and Wellness
has worked hard to earn a place in the world of
day spa and beauty treatments at its Wolf Road
location in Colonie. Now the spa has expanded,
bringing the spa to the Spa City itself.
Owner Denise Dubois said after being in
the business for 26 years, she knew it was
time to expand and Saratoga Springs seemed
like the perfect spot. The 6,500-square-foot
facility opened late September at the new
270 Broadway location in the Park Place at
Broadway building.
“We chose Saratoga Springs for the second
Complexions Spa location based on its long
history of health and wellness which makes it
a natural fit for us. We also completed careful
market research and analysis that helped us
select Saratoga Springs,” said Dubois.
Construction costs for the new spa were
about $600,000. The Park Place at Broadway
building houses 43 residential condos, with
prices ranging from $650,000 to $2 million plus.
Dubois said they will offer a variety of skin
care, hair design, body massage services and
luxurious spa treatments using 100 percent
natural and organic products.
In addition to beauty, they focus on “health
benefits for our clients, such as increased
blood circulation, cell oxygenation, pain reduction
and increased mobility,” said Dubois.
The Saratoga location allows the business to
take advantage of the city’s natural amenities.
Dubois said they have embraced the natural
healing powers of Saratoga’s mineral waters.
“We have also tapped into the Saratoga
mineral water for all of our hydrotherapy
offerings. Included with all of our services
are spa amenities including sauna therapy,
steam room, deluge cold plunge and relaxation
lounge. We encourage our guests to utilize our
wellness lounge to enhance the benefits of the
services,” said Dubois.
The spa offers a membership that allows members unlimited use of the relaxation
lounge, men’s and women’s locker room amenities,
steam room, deluge cold plunge, sauna,
organic tea bar, smoothie bar and WiFi, as well
as discounts off of retail and select services.
Saratoga members also get complimentary
indoor parking and private access to the spa.
To focus on the full-service aspect, the spa
has a two-level facility with the reception area,
tea bar, nail services, salon and retail on the
first floor and locker rooms, relaxation lounge,
deluge cold plunge, spa treatment rooms,
makeup bar and more on the second level. The
relaxation lounge has a fireplace overlooking
Congress Park.
The spa is open Monday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.;
Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5
p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone
