Sunday Verrillo loves Corvettes. She
formed an interest in cars at an early age.
Thirty-four years ago, she met her husband
Joe and opened Prestige Motor Car Co.,
where she currently serves as president.
Prestige Motor Car Co. provides services
for car collectors, especially Corvette enthusiasts.

They have an inventory of previously
owned Corvettes and high line vehicles in
their indoor and outdoor showrooms in
Clifton Park.

Verrillo worked in the retail industry for
several years prior to starting Prestige. She
is excited to be able to join her knowledge
of sales with her love of sports cars.

Verrillo and her husband travel around the country to Corvette shows. They also
restore cars for car enthusiasts around the
world, and will then export the car to the
person’s home country. They are currently
working on a vehicle for a client from Switzerland.

Verrillo said Corvettes are the only true
American sports car, produced in Kentucky,
and are a great investment.

Prestige Motor Car Co. recently introduced
an indoor car storage facility and
concierge service.

Car enthusiasts can store their cars in a
climate-controlled facility, under the protection
of trained staff. Two storage facilities,
located in Clifton Park and Saratoga Springs, are available.
The service is available for all types of
vehicles, not just Corvettes. Storage starts
at $160 per month, per car.

Verrillo said each car will be transported
to and from the facility by trained concierge
staff. Cars are placed on a trickle charger,
with inspections done regularly. The staff is
available to provide detailing, maintenance,
and restoration on cars as needed. Services
are tailored to meet the needs of the client.

All of the staff at Prestige Motor are car
enthusiasts and collectors who will treat
each vehicle will utmost respect and care,
she said. There is a large classic car community
in the area and Verrillo believes the
indoor storage facility will be a popular
service.

Verrillo plans to add a lounge area in the
future so that car enthusiasts can come and
chat about their like-minded interests.

Verrillo said it has not always been easy
being a woman in a traditionally maledominated
industry.
“When we first started, everyone would
come and ask to speak to the man in charge,” said Verrillo, referring to her husband. “Now
when people come in they say ‘Oh we can just
talk to Sunday, we don’t need to talk to Joe.'”

“If women want to make it in this industry,
we need to show people that we are knowledgeable,”
said Verrillo. “And if we don’t
know something, we aren’t afraid to go and
find the answer.”

Prestige Motor Car Co. can do maintenance
and repairs on any model of vehicle.
Verrillo said regular maintenance is necessary
to help ensure the longevity of a
person’s investment. The company provides
detailing and restoration. Trained staff are
able to provide a simple wax or restore a car
to showroom quality shine.

“We are not your typical car company”
said Verrillo. “We are like a family here. Our
first and top priority is service. We provide
service based on the needs of our customers.
A lot of things change, but one thing that
should never change is the level of service
and integrity.”
