Accents at Allerdice announced its move to
2570 Route 9 in Malta, located inside the Allerdice
Ace Hardware.
The new gifts and home décor location will have
a larger retail space, greater selection and ample
parking, said Accents manager Pat Edwards.
The new larger space will allow Accents to bring
in new products as well as increasing selections
of popular brands including Harney Teas, April
Cornell, Vance Kitira and J. Devlin, said Edwards.
“Customers were always asking us to expand
and now we are,” said Edwards.
The store is planning an official grand opening
the weekend of Oct. 17-19.
Joining Edwards on the move were Accents
sales associates Gina Whalen and Doreen Kamen.
Both look forward to the new bigger, brighter space and seeing new and past clientele.
“It’s easy to get to, just off Northway Exit 13S,”
said Kamen.
Tom Clark, Malta’s Allerdice Ace Hardware
assistant manager said, “We are proud to have
Accents in Malta. It’s the perfect neighbor to our
patio showroom.”
Accents at Allerdice operated within Allerdice
Building Supply at 41 Walworth St. in Saratoga
Springs for over 15 years and is locally owned and
operated by the Allerdice family.
Among the products it carries are fountains,
weathervanes, decorative brass doorbells, house
numbers, personalized plaques and more.
The Malta hardware store is open Monday
