Construction is scheduled to begin this
spring on Phase II of Springwood Meadows,
a townhouse development in Ballston Spa.
The first phase, consisting of 48 units
on six acres, was completed in August and
fully occupied a month later, according to
R. J. Taylor Builders Inc., the owner and
developer of the project.
The townhouse apartments range in size
from 1,450 to 1,900 square feet. Each has a
private entrance and attached garage. There
are two-, three-, or four-bedroom units or
two- or three-bedroom units with a den, all
with two and a half baths, laundry room,
family room with gas fireplace, and patio.
Rents range from $1,625 to $2,000 per month.
The development is bordered by Route 50, Route 57, and Brookline Road, with access off Route 50, south of Ballston Spa. The address is 1452 Saratoga Road. It is close to Northway Exit 12.
The new units will be similar to those in the first phase except for the addition of basement storage areas, the company said. When completed, Springwood Meadows will include nine buildings, each with eight units, for a total of 72 units.
