The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County
announced its executive officers and board of
directors for 2014, a team including representatives
across all business spectrums throughout
its coverage area.
This year’s officers are headed by Dianne
Barber-Kansas of Kansas Eye Surgery, board
chairwoman.
With the face of Tech Valley changing
rapidly, the chamber board now has four
foreign-born directors, plus representatives
from high- and low-tech manufacturing, education,
agriculture, retail, finance, medical,
construction, real estate, consulting and entrepreneurial,
said Pete Bardunias, chamber
president and CEO.
“Southern Saratoga County is blessed to have a strong local business organization and our board reflects that,” said Bardunias. “We are concentrated south of Northway Exit 13 yet have the assets of a large, regional organization, enabling us to develop the Saratoga County Community Development Program and Veteran’s Entrepreneurial Training Program. These strengthen our downtowns and help entrepreneurs get off to a good start.”
Along with Kansas, this year’s officers include Daniel Kumlander, Roback, Kumlander & Pehl CPAs, chairman-elect; Scott Rajeski, Latham International Pools, treasurer and first vice chairman; James Wachala, Turner Construction, secretary; Paul Milton, Ellis Medicine, immediate past chairman.
“This is a dynamic board and I am honored to serve as its chairwoman,” said Kansas. “With so much energy and enthusiasm we are expecting our 2014 initiatives to really make a difference in serving the southern Saratoga County business community.
