It began on the back of a boat 25 years ago for Pam Hauser who was working as a service writer at a marina in the Midwest. She was intrigued by the hand-painted designs and lettering she saw sign painters creating on the transoms of various water craft.
“I thought what they were doing was so interesting and I wanted try it, so I practiced in my garage on a piece glass for a long time,” she said. “I’d scrape it off and do it again until I got really good at it.”
She recently opened Timberline Printing and Signs at 75 Weibel Ave. in Saratoga Springs. “I came here for four weekends in a row to check it out,” she said. “The city is beautiful, and everyone is super nice here.”
Timberline features copy services including color copies, booklet making, posters, flyers, menus, raffle tickets, newsletters and custom photo calendars. Printing services include business cards, rack cards, post cards, brochures, newsletters, booklets, plastic coil and spiral binding and custom gallery printing on canvas.
