Carol R. Daggs recently opened Jazzage Massage
Therapy – A wellness Studio, at 120 west
Ave., Suite 216, in Saratoga Springs.
Daggs is a licensed massage therapist and an
insured professional member of the American
Massage Therapy Association.
Previously she maintained an independent
practice in downtown Springfield, Mass.
Daggs is a fourth generation Saratogian
whose paternal grandparents owned and operated
Daggs Refuse.
Between teaching music and taking time
off from graduate study at UMass Amherst, she
worked at AVEDA Classical Concepts offering
manicures and pedicures. Daggs was also a staff
massage therapist with Belisama Bodyworks.
Prior to attending the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany,Daggs graduated from Hartwick College and the Christine Valmy International School for Esthetiques.
Jazzage uses various professional development and practice techniques to assist patients with stress management, health and wellness. Services include traditional Swedish, sports, shiatsu, prenatal and hot stones massage, as well as aromatherapy. Sessions are tailored to meet individual patient needs.
During the 2013 racing season, Daggs volunteered her services with the Backstretch Employee Service Team.
Jazzage Massage will hold a holiday open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Dec. 21. It is open Monday, wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from non to 7 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Daags can be reached at 587-3445 or by e-mail at caroldaggs@gmail.com.
