and increased staff.
Officials aid the effort also involves
innovative management processes and
the latest technology to offer the Capital
Region. DiSiena will also continue with its
the quality retail furniture products, large
selection and service.
“Sixty-five years in business is an amazing accomplishment and a testament as to how committed the DiSiena family and our terrific staff are to providing outstanding customer service, high integrity and a superior product offering and selection you won’t find anywhere else,” said Sal DiSiena, company owner. “it’s also a testament to our ability to maintain relevance through forward thinking.”
He said the company has adapted to changes in the industry and the economy, and has even endured natural disasters. “Now we are servicing a worldly and in some cases transient new kind of customer that Tech Valley growth brings to the Capital Region, a customer the traditional furniture store doesn’t appeal to. We wouldn’t be where we are today if we didn’t have the ability to evolve,” DiSiena said.
DiSiena Furniture, which has three retail showrooms in Mechanicville covering over 85,000 square feet, features over 80 name brands including Rowe, Thomasville, Flexsteel, Harden, Broyhill, La-Z-Boy, Bernhardt, Stanley, Serta, Stearns and Foster, Sealy and more. It is an area-exclusive provider of product lines such as Thomasville.
“Our parents, Angela and Bernard, started DiSiena Furniture 65 years ago because they believed in the industry, the products, and most importantly the Capital Region,” said Carol Zappone, also an owner. “Sixty-five years later, Sal and I, our families and our staff passionately share those same ideals and continuing the DiSiena family tradition by staying true to who we are but also recognizing the need to evolve in order to continue offering our customers the quality furniture products, selection and service that DiSiena is known for. We’re excited for the new DiSiena and for what’s happening in the region.”
