Saratoga Hospital has teamed up with
the Saratoga Springs History Museum and
Malta Business and Professional Association
(MBPA) to launch the Turner Triple Crown,
a series of three races people can participate
in, held over three consecutive months, to
benefit worthy causes.
Deadline to register is August 12. There
is no registration fee.
The first 100 runners to register for and
finish all three races will receive a medal
designed specifically to commemorate the
inaugural Turner Triple Crown. Runners can
collect their medals Oct. 6, after finishing
the final race.
The Turner Triple Crown, underwritten by underwriting support from Turner Construction Co., includes:
• Aug. 12, Monday Night Mile at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. This one-mile road race is run on the harness track and benefits the Saratoga Springs History Museum. For more information or to register, go to www. saratogahistory.org/the-monday-night-mile
• Sept. 7, Malta 5K, title sponsor GlobalFoundries. This takes runners through the GlobalFoundries campus and benefi ts VETerans Housing, Employment & Lifeskills Programs (VETHELP) and Malta first responders, in honor of 9/11. For more information or to register, go to www.maltabpa. com/malta5k
• Oct. 6, Greno Industries Run for the RoC. This is a 5K race on the grounds of the historic Saratoga Race Course and benefits patients of Saratoga Hospital’s Mollie Wilmot Radiation oncology Center.
