A new kind of entertainment can be found
at Clifton Park Center Mall. Art on Tap is a new
paint and drink studio where art classes are
combined with beer and wine.
The studio is located between Alpin Haus
and JC Penney at the mall and is equipped to
host birthday parties (including kids), girls’
nights out, team-building events and more.
Art on Tap will offer two-hour classes, held
nightly and during the day on weekends. Customers
can create their own unique painting
to take home.
“I am excited to be opening my first business
and to have the opportunity to share my creativity
with the community,” said Caitlin Sise,
owner of Art on Tap. “Art is an outlet for fun
and relaxation, and I look forward to sharing
the experience with others.”
The studio has designs beyond just painting on canvas, and encompasses a variety of craft projects. Classes can be individually registered for online, as well as reserved as a private party, said Sise. Children’s instructional classes will also be provided on a weekly basis. Anyone from novice to professional can participate.
Beverages will be available for sale at Art on Tap, and complimentary appetizers are provided to class participants making this a fun social environment, said Rob Ristau, general manager at Clifton Park Center Mall.
“The cool part about the concept is that everyone can have fun doing this, from someone that’s never picked up a brush, to accomplished painters,” said Ristau.
