The Wesley Community will provide
Capital Region residents with a swinging night of
dinner and entertainment at a USO Party on Friday,
May 17. The event will be held at the Embury
Commons in Saratoga Springs from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The event, which falls on the eve of Armed
Forces Day on Saturday, May 18, celebrates
the USO, which provides support services and
entertains troops in the U.S. and overseas.
The annual gathering continues The Wesley
Community tradition of hosting a celebratory
evening each year as a way for Capital Region
residents to welcome the arrival of spring.
The evening will feature a special flag presentation by the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association, a dance performance by Saratoga Savoy, and live music from jazz duo Joe Gitto and Vinnie Spero. Guests will also enjoy a sit-down dinner. Tables may be reserved for parties of four individuals or more.
The event is open to the general public.
Tickets are available for $15 per person or $25 for two people. To reserve tickets, call 691-1565 by Tuesday, May 14.
