Troy Mayor Lou Rosamilia and Bonacio
Construction in Saratoga Springs announced
the opening of the Keenan Building Apartments
in downtown Troy.
Bonacio Construction purchased the building,
located on the corner of Broadway and Third
Street, in the spring of 2012, the first of many
Troy structures the company has since acquired.
Sonny Bonacio, Saratoga Springs builder,
real estate developer and owner of Bonacio
Construction, currently owns The River Triangle,
Dauchy and the former Cinema Arts
building on River Street. All, including the first
floor of the Keenan Building, have commercial
and retail space available for leasing.
The historic Keenan mixed-use building offers 14 apartments with lofted ceilings and grand windows. There are a variety of one- and two-bedroom floor plans consisting of six one bedroom apartments of 650-900 square feet and eight two-bedroom apartments of 750-1300 square feet. New tenants were occupying the space as of March 1.
“The renovation of The Keenan Building is the start of an exciting phase of the redevelopment of downtown Troy,” said the mayor. “We look forward to working with Sonny on his River Street properties to continue the momentum the city is experiencing. This project is the start of many wonderful developments that are on the horizon for the city of Troy.”
