There’s a champion in each one of us, unique to who we are and what our purpose is. WE are our own champions. We can make anything happen. And the very source of our “champion-ship” lies in our heart and soul.
I encourage you to take the 30 day challenge to “go there”; daily and start – right now. There is a global movement, a wave of energy that is in sink with this practice, and hopping on this wave will support you in this process. AND, it is always available.
This is a (phone) photo of an actual photograph of Secretariat. It is in the living room of my home. A 38″ x 25 ” taken at the Saratoga Race Track in 1973. I was fortunate to have seen him twice during his second visit in Saratoga Springs.
Connecting to your heart and true essence of whom you are is what we can
do in 30 days or less. This is where your answers lie, no matter what
your 2013 goal is. And YES – this does relate to Health and Healing and
Nutrition !
First – you must connect the wires and prepare for tapping
into what it is you desire. You
need to sit still and be quiet – for at least 10 minutes a day. Preferably 20 minutes. Here are your directions till I blog
again in the next several days.
Pick a time each day where you will sit in peace and quiet
for 10 or more minutes. Flexibility
is always a component to achieving a goal(s). For example, I now sit for 20 minutes (use my phone alarm)
either during my morning coffee time or during my lunch break at work in my
car. I also keep a check-list on
my phone to help create a pattern and a habit of daily practice.
MEDITATE
1 – Set a daily time and place, 10 minutes or more. If can
be out in the barn while feeding your horse in the morning, on your lunch break, in a church; whatever works for you.
2 – Record your daily progress to help propel you
forward.
3- While your sitting still with your eyes closed, release
and still your mind.
4- Do some deep breathing to contract and relax all your
areas of the body from head to toe.
(breath in & fill/expand tummy, breath out and empty tummy) Now
notice what is on our mind and let go of all thoughts. Do not judge any, just notice and let
go and clear them.
5- Progressive relaxation is contracting and releasing muscle groups – from head to toe. Visually guide yourself, with your eyes closed. This might take approximately 7 minutes.
We will tap into connecting to the heart and feeding your
heart and soul on the next blog. Till then ….happy meditating, your on your way
!:)
To help encourage you, here is a sample from one of my
Saratoga Nutrition facebook page blogs’ (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Saratoga-Nutrition/155129377831356?ref=hl) on the champion of horses, Secretariat. It is only 10 minutes and WELL worth a look. Please like my page while you’re there.
