Many of my clients tell me that part of the reason they are tired, depressed and not feeling well is because of their unhappiness in their working environment. MANY times, I have seen people transition out of their jobs into a new one that serves them much better – soon after they start seeing me and listing changes they desire. Once people start to adjust their energy patterns into a more supportive pattern, there is a trickle effect throughout areas of their life. I help my clients look at realistic options for change so that work is no longer a contributor to stress, fatigue and overall lack of health. In the past 3 months, I have had 4 clients change their jobs.
Two days ago I saw one of my clients at the Green Grocer in Clifton Park. David was so excited to tell me that he had decreased a lot of stress in his life and feels “lighter, more peaceful and happier”. He was practicing group meditation 2 x per month at a local center AND he had quit his job. But even better, his new job is working with autistic children, which is near and dear to Davids’ heart.
David had left a work environment where he felt he was being taken advantage of for various reasons. After he left, he continued his volunteer work with autistic children. Soon after that, he created a new paid position with autistic children. Once he shut one door, decreased his stress and put is heart into what he loved, he attracted more of what he was doing and was offered his new job.
We need to listen to what our bodies need. Once you create health in small steps, you create bigger steps of health and change. It helps to discuss these things with close friends, family or health care practitioners that can help you understand what you need. David is now happier, healthier and in a place where he is providing a service where he is respected and in return he continues to give more.
