The great thing about smoothies is you can make them quickly and drink them on the spot or freeze what’s left for a great popsicle.
Organic Frozen Strawberries, organic frozen cherries or freeze your over ripened bananas in parchment paper and use them. Feel free to add kefir and to taste!
Add whole milk yogurt (good fats) – my favorites are locally made: Argyle Cheese Farmer Yogurts
Maple syrup to taste, we like grade b from Mapleland Farms
Then add ground flax
Blend it together and voila – a healthy sweet drink, kids love!
