Making hot chocolate is SO simple… just put maple syrup or honey in a pan, mix in your cocoa powder (dutch cocoa has more antioxidants than the special dark Hershey brand) and add your milk – nut milks, coconut or dairy. If you want extra health benefits add a pinch of cinnamon to helps stabilize blood sugars and also helps prevent cancer, if you are feeling fancy you can add vanilla or adults might like a pinch of cayenne pepper which has its own health benefits.
